About the role:
We are YDISTRI: We help major retailers do more with what they already have.
By working at store level, we give retail teams the visibility to find inventory that isn't moving, get it where it needs to be, and turn it into real revenue before it ever becomes a problem. We're growing fast, and that's just the start.
We work with retailers across Europe and Asia. We are now putting our first consultant on the ground in Thailand, and this is that role: the person Thai retailers meet, the person who runs their projects, and the person accountable for the results they get.
You will be our first hire in Thailand, and how Thai retailers come to see YDISTRI will rest heavily on the work you deliver. If that is the kind of responsibility you want, keep reading.
What you'll do:
- Own the client relationship end to end: discovery, delivery, reviews, escalations. You are the face and the accountable owner.
- Diagnose the inventory problem: start every engagement in the client's inventory and sales data to find where stock is stuck, where it is short, and what it is costing them.
- Turn diagnosis into action: build recommendations on allocation, replenishment and stock movement, present them to category and supply chain leadership, and hold your position when challenged.
- Be YDISTRI's face with Thai clients: build strong working relationships and represent us credibly, working alongside our Prague commercial team.
- Bridge Thai retail and our product: turn structured client feedback into roadmap input and stay involved as it gets built.
Who you are:
Experience:
- Consulting experience: you have run client engagements and owned the outcome.
- Experience with supply chain, inventory and/or planning decisions (allocation, replenishment, stock levels).
- Fluent working with large data sets to find and resolve the problems.
- Self-directed and comfortable with ambiguity: you set your own schedule, run multiple clients, and help shape process as a scale-up evolves.
- Professional English and fluent Thai.
- Willing to visit clients in person, and to go to Prague a few times a year.
Nice to have:
- SQL.
