In addition to combating waste, the redistribution in Douglas also targets goods that are in short supply in the network. This not only helps with increasing sales, but also with increasing customer satisfaction and improving overall brand perception.
Startup Ydistri, which uses its proprietary predictive technology to help stores optimize inventory and eliminate dead stock, is expanding its client portfolio with another strong brand. It has also announced a new collaboration with Douglas perfume chain. Thanks to Ydistri's tool, within the first two months of implementation, the company has already managed to redistribute across its Polish network and successfully sell more than 90 percent of the products that have not had any transactions in the last six months.
